Beloved husband of Gail, much loved father of Bridget and Sarah; loved and remembered always by his family, sister Mary (Keane), Alexander and Richard, nieces, nephews, the extended family and his numerous colleagues and friends. Rest in peace. Sean will be waked at home on Wednesday evening (August 7) from 6pm. Funeral arrangements to follow later.

Beloved wife of Jack, her husband of 57 years. Loving mother of Carmel, Therese, Dorothy, David, Gráinne, Eithne and Jayne. Devoted sister of Biddy, Fr. Máirtín and Carmel. Deeply missed by all the family, especially by her beloved grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, nephews, niece, relatives and a wide circle of friends. Reposing at her home tomorrow, Wednesday from 4pm to 7.30pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 11am at Shanaglish Church, with burial to follow in Lakemount Cemetery, Tubber. Dr. John (Late of Barrington's and St John's Hospitals and the Hunt Museum, Limerick) beloved husband of the late Bríd. Deeply regretted by his son John, erstwhile daughter-in-law Laura, his sisters-in-law Betty and Imelda, brother-in-law Dick, relatives and friends. May he rest in peace. Reposing at Thompson's Funeral Home, Thomas Street tomorrow, Wednesday evening from 5.30pm to 7.00pm followed by removal to Raheen Church. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 12.00 noon with funeral afterwards to Lisboney Old Cemetery, Nenagh. Family flowers only, donations if desired to The Peter McVerry Trust.

THORNBURY Katherine (Ka, Kathy) - (Cratloe, Co. Clare and Amsterdam) Aged 49. Died peacefully at home, July 28, 2013, Amsterdam. Beloved daughter of Mary and the late Art Thornbury, wife of Paul Fitzpatrick, sister of Niamh, Ivan and Karlo, and proprietor and landlady of Dan Murphy's Bar on the Leidseplein, Amsterdam. Katherine was much loved by her heartbroken family and friends and will be sadly missed by her mother; husband; sister and brothers and their partners Michael, Lorraine and Annegien; nieces and nephews, Dylan, Evie, Art and Louise; godmother Una Loftus and other aunts, uncles and cousins; Paul's sons Ben and Joshua; her many loyal friends and by the staff and regulars of Dan's. Cremation will take place in Amsterdam at the Westgaarde Crematorium tomorrow (Friday) at 1.45 pm. Funeral Mass in St. John's Church, Cratloe, at 12 noon Friday, August 9, followed by burial in Craughaun Cemetery. House private on morning of funeral please.
