McDWYER Helen (died May 10, 2011) - On this the First Anniversary of Helen's death, her husband Oliver, daughters Elaine, Louise and Adele, brother, sister and her extended family wish to express their deepest gratitude and appreciation to all those who sympathised with them in their sad bereavement. Sincere thanks to all those who attended the removal and funeral, sent Mass cards, letters, messages of condolence and who sensitively supported us in so many ways. A special mention of Helen's work colleagues over the years, teaching staff at St. Paul's, Greenhills and Loreto Dalkey - the pupils at Loreto Dalkey for their very thoughtful gesture to remember Helen; her friends at Stackstown Golf Club and Templeogue Bridge Club and all other friends she encountered during her lifetime. Our thanks to Prof. Ken O'Byrne, Dr. Patrick Forde, Mr. David O'Donovan, the medical and nursing staff at the Oncology Dept., St. James's Hospital for their wonderful care during Helen's illness. Thanks to An Garda Siochana, serving and retired members who attended in great numbers and gave attention to the traffic at the removal and funeral. Finally we will be forever grateful to our parish priest, Fr. Brendan Madden for his service at Helen's removal and his beautiful Mass and tribute the following day. He was ably assisted by Fr. Joe Kennedy and Fr. Ralph Egan, from Mount Argus. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions. Helen's First Anniversary Mass will be held at 12 noon on Sunday May 13, 2012, in the Church of the Holy Spirit, Ballyroan.
