Acknowledgement : QUINN
QUINN - The family of the late Fr Seamus Quinn C.Ss.R. wish to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported us in our recent bereavement. A special thanks to all in the Claudy parish and surrounding areas and to all those who visited in hospital, Templemoyle and Nazareth House and especially to those who helped us and visited him in his own home. Thanks to all who sent Mass and sympathy Cards, called at the house, telephoned and attended the removal and funeral. We thank all those who sent letters and telephoned with sympathy from Britain, Europe, India, Canada and U.S.A. A special thanks to the doctors and staff at Feeny Health Centre, the nursing staff in Templemoyle Nursing Home, and to the Sisters of Nazareth and nursing staff in Nazareth House. Our sincere thanks to Fr Kevin Callaghan C.Ss.R., who was ordained with Fr Seamus, for coming from England to celebrate the moving Requiem Mass and Eulogy, a special thanks to Fr Michael McEldowney P.P. Claudy and to Fr Michael McCaughey who performed his duties as Master of Ceremonies in such a dignified manner. Thanks also to all the priests who concelebrated at the removal and Requiem Masses and to Bishops Francis Lagan and Edward Daly for their attendance and prayers at the graveside. We wish to thank Paddy Quinn, his niece, for her lovely singing; the organist, the readers, gift bearers, stewards for parking, and altar servers. Finally a word of special tribute to Carmel O'Neill Undertakers, Kevin and Patricia, the grave diggers and Dan's Restaurant. It would be impossible to thank everyone individually so we hope this Acknowledgement will be accepted as a small gesture of our sincere thanks and appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intention. The Months Mind Mass for Fr Seamus will be celebrated on Friday June 24, at 7.30 o'clock in St Patrick's Church, Claudy.Claudy, Derry, Rainham, Galway, Maghera.
