KEANE Gerard (Gerry) (Dalkey, Co. Dublin) - August 26, 2014, peacefully, after a long illness fought with great courage and dignity, in the tender care of the doctors, nurses and staff at St. Vincent's Private Hospital, beloved husband and best friend of Sandra, loving father of Antony and Simon, father-in-law of Sinéad and Claire and adored Grandpa of Chloe, Emily, Ella, Henry, Sophie and Jemima; deeply missed by his brothers David and Brendan, sisters Sheila Ann and Deirdre, his Auntie Betty, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and all of his many friends. Funeral Mass on Saturday, August 30 at 10.00 o'clock in the Church of the Assumption, Castle Street, Dalkey followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery. No flowers please.
