MANGAN (née Carey) Mavis - Mavis' beloved husband Gerry and her much loved children, Ciarán, Pádraig, Gearóid, Sinéad and Siobhán along with their partners and children would like to thank most sincerely the many people who sympathised with us, supported us and comforted us during our sad loss. The memories shared and the love shown by family, friends, neighbours, old and new, reflected the love and affection Mavis was held in by all who knew her. We are extremely grateful to the wonderful staff at Cara Care Centre who cared for and loved Mavis and to Dr Colm Killeen who looked after her for many years. We would also like to extend our gratitude to Fr Bernard Collier and the Bereavement Team at the Church of the Holy Child, and to An Garda Síochána for making her last journey so memorable. To our friends and extended family who attended the repose and funeral, particularly those who travelled long distances to be with us and to those who sent Mass cards, letters of sympathy or charity donations, your support and presence means so much to us all. Please accept this Acknowledgment as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude. Mavis' Month's Mind will be held at 10.00am at The Chapel of the Blessed Margaret Ball today, Wednesday. Prayers will be offered in thanks for your support.
