BLEAKLEY Seamus (Athlone) Died August 20, 2013 - Seamus's wife Mona and family would like to thank most sincerely everyone who sympathised with us on our very great loss. Our heartfelt thanks to all who attended the removal, funeral Mass and burial, particularly all those who travelled long distances to be with us. We acknowledge with thanks the numerous Mass cards, Perpetual Enrolments, Floral tributes and letters of sympathies. A very special word of thanks to the palliative care nurses, the South Westmeath Hospice and the Carers Association, to the home care team, Jean, Ann, Michelle and all those who cared for Seamus at home, to Dr. Barton, his team, the matron and all the staff at Sonas, St. Vincent's Care Centre, who cared for Seamus in his final months. To Dr. John Rice who was so helpful and caring to Seamus, to Father Eamon Kelly and Sister Mary Anne, for their many visits to Seamus, to Jack O'Connor and SIPTU, to the staff at Liberty Hall. To his many comrades in the Trade Union Movement, to Canon Devine for his lovely homily and the way he conducted Seamus's Requiem Mass and all the priests that assisted him. To P.J. Stacey and the choir, to Tommy Ward, to Flynn's Undertakers, to Paddy McCaul and the staff of the Shamrock Lodge and to the numerous others who were helpful and kind towards Seamus.
