
Death : FOLEY, Timothy Joseph
FOLEY, Timothy Joseph (Joe), London, and formerly of 'The Top Cross', Waterville, Co. Kerry on February 5, 2012, in his 91st year, peacefully, under the excellent care of the Intensive Care Unit at Queen's Hospital, Romford, Essex. Former Serving Officer: Irish Army (The Curragh and Collins Barracks, Cork), Irish Guards, London and the British Colonial Police, Tanjon Kling, Malacca, in the former Federation of Malaya (now Malaysia). Husband of Nell (née Moynihan), brother of May Manson (deceased) and sadly grieved by his seven children Francis (Denmark), Mary (Portland, Oregon), Timothy, Claire, Gregory, Raymond and Genevieve, his sister Cecilia (Packenham), his delightful grandchildren Tara, Kim, Sam, Sara, Kieran and Rhyanna, and his adorable greatgrandson 'Ollie', nephews Fr Michael Packenham (Mexico), and Bgd. Gen. Paul Packenham (recently retired Head of Southern Command, Collins Barracks, Cork), Brendan, Brian and Pierce (Manson); his nieces Mary (Packenham-Barry), Mary (Manson-Wright), Aideen and Brona (Manson), his cousins Maurice, Tony and Freddie (O'Connell), his former comrades in the British Services Club, Seymour Place, London, and all his other relatives. Reposing at the Chapel of Rest, 10 Woolwich Manor Way, Becton, Essex, from 11 o'clock on Friday, February 10. Removal on Monday, February 13, at 11.30 am to the City of London Crematorium, Aldersbrook Road, E12. Requiem Mass for Joe will be celebrated at 12 noon, followed by cremation. Joe returns to the Kingdom and a Memorial Mass commemorating his life will be celebrated in St. Finian's Church, Waterville, Co. Kerry at 11 o'c on Friday, February 17. All enquiries to T.
