Death : FILBIN, Dr Marie
FILBIN Dr. Marie, distinguished Professor (Hunter College, Cuny, New York and formerly of Lurgan, Co. Armagh) - January 15, 2014, (peacefully), at Cavan General Hospital, daughter of the late John and Maureen and sister of the late Jane Glover; she will be sadly missed by her loving sister Elizabeth, niece, nephews, brother-in-law Liam Glover, relatives and friends. Rest in peace. Reposing at the home of her sister Elizabeth, Curraghmore, Ballyjamesduff today, Friday. Removal tomorrow, Saturday to St. Patrick's Church, Lurgan, Virginia to arrive for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, followed by cremation in Mount Jerome Crematorium, Dublin at 3.30pm aprox. Memorial Mass to celebrate her life and work achievements will be held in St. Peter's Church, Lurgan, Co. Armagh on Saturday, January 25 at 12 noon, followed by interment of ashes in St. Comans Cemetery. No flowers please. Donations in lieu of, if desired, to cancer research.
